oUr Story

Soul and Soil’s story begins with the understanding that we are interconnected with the Earth and rooted in the belief that every action has a ripple effect. Soul and Soil rebels against these norms, advocating for a fair share mindset and sustainable living. Through composting, education, and community engagement, Soul and Soil aims to heal the soil, foster food security, and build a better future for generations to come.

Da’ Mission

To transform every piece of organic material into a valuable resource, leaving no waste behind. We are on a mission to create high-quality compost that enriches our community and the environment.

“Food scraps are usually considered to be the end of the line but it is also the beginning of the cycle too.”

Nicholas Fox II is a Composter, Food Waste Recycler, and a Certified Compost Operations Mangager (CCOM). An entrepreneur at heart, Nicholas decided to start his business, Soil and Soil, in the Spring of 2020. Nicholas started composting at the age of 16 after his mother told him she wanted a garden, and his love for composting bloomed from there. Nicholas’ goal is to turn waste into resources through composting. Nicholas belives composting in The Bahamas will help with the problem of food insecurity and the dwindling space in the landfill. Through time, Nicholas believes he’ll be Da’ Compost King
